Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is an assessment of the current and future health and social care needs of Cumbria's population.  In 2016, the JSNA Staying Safe chapter was published and replaced the previous annual Crime & Community Safety Strategic Assessment.

Community Safety Strategic Assessment

Prior to the JSNA Staying Safe chapter, the Community Safety Strategic Assessment provided an understanding of levels of and patterns of crime, disorder and substance misuse in the county and local areas.  The assessment helped to identify and prioritise the resources and interventions required to combat crime and disorder in the county.  To view previous Community Safety Strategic Assessments go here.
