Joint Strategic Needs Assessment
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is an assessment of the current and future health and social care needs of Cumbria's population. In 2015, the JSNA Children & Families chapter was published and can be viewed here.
Department for Education (DfE) Data
Local authorities are required to submit a range of information to the DfE covering topics such as: Schools, pupils and their characteristics; Special educational needs; GCSE and equivalent results; Pupil absence in schools; Permanent and fixed-period exclusions; and characteristics of children in need. Cumbria's Children's Centres operate across 28 geographical 'footprints'. A range of information to help Children's Centres to plan services and identify local priorities within each footprint can be viewed here.
